The Jefferson Elementary School computer lab consists of thirty Macintosh computers with the OS X operating system and laser printers. There is a teacher "station" that is linked to a Smartboard and LCD projector for large screen instructional use. All computers are networked and Internet connected. Four laptop carts are also available for teachers to checkout and use in the classrooms.

Every teacher is assigned a 45 minute block of time each week in the computer lab so that each class has the opportunity to use the lab for any variety of projects or assignments.
The instructional program in the computer lab is under constant development and modification as needed. All lessons taught in the lab are based on the technology standards mandated by OPS.

These modules include, but are not limited to, the following:

Basic Computer Knowledge
Word Processing
Online Research
The lab is also used for workshops for teachers after school.
